EXECUTIVE (& EXTENDED) SESSION TIPS:
Being prepared for your headshot session can result in the difference between a good image and a great image. Here is a checklist of tips that have helped our previous clients:
If we are doing a company matching look, please ask your supervisor to show you what other staff have worn in their headshots so that you can match the look.
Please come dressed and ready to go with hair and make up already done.
- Extended sessions have the option to add on professional hair & make up. This needs to be booked in advance. Please call the studio to enquire.
- Bring lots of outfits. This will give you variety for your session.
- Iron (or press) your clothing. Creases show up very clearly on camera.
- Have all wardrobe items and accessories ready to go at least the day before your session. This ensures less stress and rush on the day of your shoot!
- Make sure that your clothing (& undergarments) fit you well. This is the most common issue during sessions so please try on a few days prior.
- Drink plenty of water and get enough sleep during the week of your session.
- Arrive on time for your session so that you can get settled in (please avoid coming too early or late because we have back to back sessions on most days)
- Ladies, do your make up in a matt finish (to avoid glare) and no thicker than you would wear out for dinner. AVOID highlighter or glittery make up finishes for best results.
- We have a beauty zone in the studio so that you can quickly fine tune your hair and make up (bring your own lipstick etc.). We have hair spray, anti frizz and matt powder available.

All ordered images will be retouched/edited. This includes basic skin softening, minor blemish removal. It does not include digital makeup, hair root retouching, hair colour editing or clothing colour changes. If you require the above services, we can arrange a quote for you.
